Join the Foster Festival on Saturday, April 24 for a livestreamed reading of Norm Foster’s new play, My Hero. (If you can’t catch the reading live you’ll have access to the replay for 72 hours.)
Jim Devine, a forty-year-old high school literature teacher, lives with his mother, Corrine. He is the son of a former superstar hockey player – a player who died in a car accident at the peak of his career. Fast forward, Corrine has met a new man. Watch as these three characters intersect in the most hilarious and touching way as Norm unveils his newest play, and world premiere reading of, My Hero.
The play/reading is in Two Acts, with a 10-minute intermission. Total running time is approximately 2 hours. An exclusive streaming link will be emailed to ticketholders on the morning of Friday, April 23.
The Foster Festival has partnered with Vinelands Estates Winery to create a ‘Picnic for 2’ package to pair with the online reading.
