Niagara’s Twenty Valley in collaboration with Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority has added another attraction to its annual line-up with a new Spring event – Roots on the Twenty! Dust off your boots and kick up your heels as you explore the history, feel the culture, and sample the best local fare Niagara has to offer.
Roots on the Twenty is a little bit hipster, a smidge country and all about nature and a whole lot of fun! This beautiful two-day event is nestled within the breathtaking Ball’s Falls Conservation Area offering spectacular scenery and natural beauty. In its inaugural year, the event will establish itself as a down-to-earth and unassuming Niagara event, while celebrating a sense of time and place in Canada’s 150-year history.
Unlike any wine and culinary events in Niagara, we are showing off our earthy roots! Presenting the Great Canadian Lumberjacks, a live demonstration of the expertise required for a strong Canadian lumberjack, from axe throwing to wood-chopping. These shows will take place Saturday and Sunday, they are not to be missed!
The White Pine Dancers will bring the power of movement, the rhythm of history and the story of their ancestors with some of the most colourful and award-winning dance. Additional live bands will include talented folk rock with a dash of country music.
Looking for a little more interaction? Interactive axe throwing will be provided by Niagara’s own Bury the Hatchet giving you the opportunity to learn the art axe throwing; other live experiences will have you itching to share with friends and family.
