The history of St. Catharines comes to life through exhibits such as the award-winning 'Follow the North Star' exhibit chronicling the journey of runaway slaves to Canada, Welland Canals exhibit and special travelling exhibits, and the Lock View Lounge. Take part in experiential events throughout the year.

See the ships climb the mountain from the elevated observation platform. Picnic in the park or enjoy the playground with your family. Experience the canal's past and present through computer programs, media and interactive displays. Ships transit the canal from April to December. Wheelchair accessible.
