At the St. Catharines Museum at the Welland Canals Centre On display until March 25, 2012 Special in-house exhibit featuring items from our Collections show how people in St. Catharines survived the often harsh winter conditions. Investigate an interactive Depression-era kitchen, showcasing an ACE metal ice box, a pantry filled with winter necessities and a 1924 Locomotive washer, as well as a 1970’s living room where they can tune into the 1971 Memorial Cup final hockey game on a 1965 RCA Victor “New Vista” television.
